I purchased this silencer to replace a damaged OEM. I wanted a replacement that was close to stock for aesthetic and tuning reasons.
Quality: For the price the quality is fine
Sound: Moderately louder than stock, sound is more like a brit bike than a sewing-machine and has a pleasing burble when riding, its not so loud as to cause irritation but you defiantly know you are riding a thumper.
Tuning: I installed a Hi-Flo paper air filter along with the muffler and had to increase the pilot jet to #47.5 the main #170 and raisie the needle to clip #4 I have a mikuni BST34 carb on OEM jetting and before changing the bike couldn’t rev passed 4000RPM. I am 7meters above sea level and average temp is 15/20 celsius and now performace is back to normal, very ocassional get a decel pop.
Installation: Very easy, took about 30 minutes.
Performance: Indistinguishable, any improvement is probably down to weight saving, OEM = 5.25kg vs new @ 2.05Kg
Overall I would recommend this muffler if you want to replace stock and are looking for a more authentic sounding motorcycle.

* About quality and texture, Beautiful brushed stainless steel finish header pipe and muffler with a black CNC machined billet end cap.
* About the feeling of use, This slip on exhaust has a deep throaty note while still retaining the OEM Honda emission complaint portion of the header pipe.
* Products to buy together, An aftermarket air intake will definitely want to be purchased along with an exhaust, Kitaco have a great one on offer at the best price around.
* Difficulty of installation, Being just a slip on exhaust and not a full exhaust system does make the Vance & Hines easier to install. The process was completed in 60 minutes with little difficultly.
* Cost performance and comparison with other products, The Vance & Hines slip on exhaust is much more expensive then other slip on and comes at even a higher cost then some full exhaust system which is disappointing but it is still definitely worth the money for the quality finish and additional chassic cover included.

It has been about 6 months since I installed it, so I will give my impressions.[How is it used?Mainly city driving and touring, but can go on any situation.Was the one you received as per Image?Full titanium with beautiful unique coloring.It is lightweight, not in proportion to its large size.The shape and large size may be different for different tastes.Was the installation difficult?The body is a Slip-on Silencer, so it is easy, but it took a lot of time to fit the special heat shield. Purchased for my TT250R, the OEM comparison exhaust system is 3.9kg while this one is 2.2kg, which is a weight reduction of 1.7kg.OEMExhaust System parts are still available, but they cost about 60,000 yen, so Other Brand Products may be cheaper in many cases.After installing the Fee Ring, it seems that the engine simply runs better, probably because there is no catalytic converter. The power at low rpm is less, but at high rpm it seems to be more powerful. I don't feel that I was particularly particular about the performance, and it would probably be possible to achieve the same performance by installing a simple cylinder of the same diameter.What was very disappointing was the warranty. The middle bracket was completely broken off from the weld and damaged in 8 months after less than 10,000 km of purchase. I use it more than 90% for on road touring. It is hitting the Swing Arm. It was scratched as soon as I installed it. It's a shame.The sound is neither too loud nor too quiet.No Instruction Manual is available
