This an upgrade I did a while ago but had not gotten around to doing a review on the Smoke reservoir kit.I have had a lot of experience with Bremo products and for this reason, I decided to purchase the Smok kit. It is a little easier on the eye and ou can see the fluid clearly as the view is not frosted.The price from Webike is exceptional, I had to wait a while before I could even order this kit as the Smoke was not in stock. Didn't take long for Webike to get the stock so I ordered whilst I could.The shipping method I used was EMS fast. They just do a great job in getting your order to you in record time, I believe this was a 4 day turnaround from Japan to the UK. You can't get much better than that.I ordered other parts with this and that also cut down on the shipping cost. Everything in my order was packed really well and although there was little space in the outer bax, Webike took the liberty to fill in any empty space with additional padding.This kit really is a goreous piece of work. The bracket is super clean, machined very well. There is literally everything you need to fit this kit to your bike as long as you have space to put one. I did have to get a new brake line made up but that was purely down to me not liking the bend on the line when this was fitted. It didn't really need changing but my OCD meant it just didn't suit me.This comes with all the clips, bolts, washers and the anti vibration rubber. It does look wicked once fitted. Works really well and teh brake feels a bit crisper although that might also have a lot to do with the fact I changed out the master cylinder at the same time.Anyway, I am very pleased with the result. The brake side reservoir was also needed for a customer. The one they had fitted was a cheap after market reservoir. It might have looked good but it failed miserably and leaked a fair amount on the bike's fuel tank fairing.I already had this in my basket and matched it from Brembo website. These are perfect upgraces to the stock reservoirs on a lot of older bikes. The cost of the reservoir was very good, better than I could source locally in the UK. I already had other parts in my Webike basket and with about 8 other items of varying size I used EMS fast. The cost of this service was really good value. All arrived at my door in 4 days flat. The outer box was already sealed by Webike warehouse so nothing coud be lost from the box. All the items in the order arrived in perfect condition as expected.This reservoir is a really good looking part, even though it is white and pretty opaque, not totally clear but enough to see the fluid level inside. I have fitted these to a lot of older model bikes that were in desparate need of a new reservoir. Brembo manufacture these for a universal fitting and they really are. You may need to get a different banjo for the exising brake line as the outlet doesn't always match with your existing one.It is a nice touch having a screw on cap and then bolted down. The more security the better when it comes to brakes. Fitted to the existing braket the customer had so an easy installation. All filled, bled and done in less than an hour. My rear reservoir tank looked a little old and I wanted to get a few of these for other bikes than I would normally buy for.I went for the smoke colour as this is the same colour as I already have on my from master cylinder. You have to match right.The price of these reservoirs is excellent, much cheaper than I could get from the UK. I ordered 4, I already had a few other Brembo reservoirs and the kits they have so the shipping was cut dramatically between all the parts. The method I used for this order was EMS fast. They really are fast too, from placing my order to the order being delivered directly to me was 4 days. This courier was also a lot cheaper than Fedex who I used to use.All the parts in the order were well packed, most came in their individual packets and teh box was filled out with bubble wrap and air pockets so nothing could move around too much.The reservoir upon receipt looks really cool. So much better than the plain old white version and actually clear to see the fluid within. Very nice. The screw cap was firm but not too much, you don't really want a loose cap or something bad will happen.I already had the hardware to fit this reservoir ready to go. All fitted in about 10 minutes and that was even clamping the brake line.I have to say, I am very happy that Webike are authorised Brembo distributors and this means I can source more of the Brembo parts I need from one place. The correct part was found using the tools Webike provide and cross referencing with Yamaha's own schematics. Best price ever for this lock washer and better than I could source locally. With some other parts in my order, all were shipped together with EMS and arrived in perfect condition in 5 days from shipping. The parts were well packed and no damage was sustained during transit. The lock washer is a super idea and keep the nut from loosening and coming off when you really do not want it to. It has 2 sides that you can peen over but if you do one each time you reinstall, you can use twice maximum. It is well machined and free from any contaminants. Works a treat. As we were changing the front and rear sprocket for the FZ-6 2006 it was time to change out the nut and lock washer for it too as you are not really meant to keep on using these parts due to deterioration upon removal and reinstallation. The nut here is the Genuine Yamaha one as it is always going to be the best option. The correct part was found using the tools Webike provide and cross referencing with Yamaha's own schematics. Webike price was excellent as always and better value than anywhere else I have found. With some other parts in my order, all were shipped together with EMS and arrived in perfect condition in 5 days from shipping. All the parts were in their own individual packets and inside a bubble wrapped envelope for security. The nut itself is a well made and well machined nut. The edges are not sharp but they are crisp and clean. The threads are very precise and no notchiness or stickiness was found upon installation. We changed out the older tired looking indicators only to find that the plates that hold them in were not great and had a couple of cracks in 2 of them. These are not particularly hard to find parts but you do need to make sure you get the right ones for the specific bike you have. This one was for the CBR600RR 2012 we are working on. As always I had more than 1 part in my order and shipped using EMS which arrived in 5 days from shipping. I purchased 4 of these so the full set could be changed. No point in just doing the 2 cracked ones when at some point, the other 2 will end u[ exactly the same. The all came in the genuine Honda packets and were stapled together so none could get lost. The are a strong plastic composite and the mounts are all crisp and clean and free from additional plastic. I do love a good day of maintenance. This time it was for a lovely CBR1000RR. Full on oil filter, oil and air filter change. We wanted to fit the K&N filter over the OEM one becasue you also have the ability to wash, re-oil and re-use these filters. I have never found them to be anything less than the quality of the standard OEM filters and do not have any less performance. As I said, these are reusable if you do it all correctly. This is replacing the OEM Honda one which came on the bike standard. Finding the correct filter for the bike was easy too, I checked on Webike website and this showed the models that fit each filter. Super easy.I had other items in my order and this then cut down the shipping over the entire order. I use EMS fast service which arrived at my door in 5 days but there was a weekend inbetween. All the items were packaged really well and bubble wrap and air pockets were used to fill any space in the box. Webike even tape the outer box on all sides so nothing can get in out. The filter arrived in perfect condition and fitted as I mentioned above in about half an hour total and that was including cleaning the surfaces and prepping everything. The final result was great, all sorted and no leaks. If you do it right the first time, follow the instructions this won't happen anyway. These were purchased as a complimentary addition to the gorgeous GSX-R1000 here. We decided to go for the Yoshimura ones as this bike has a few other Yoshimura parts so it was fitting to keep with that brand. I have owned a lot of Yoshimura parts for various bikes before and the craftsmenship is out of this world, Japan really knows how to make parts. Finding the correct part was not hard as I previously had some on a different bike. The price was outstanding and very good value with the shipping. Arrived in perfect condition in 5 days from shipping. They came in their own box which was really cute. No problems with this, The finish is excellent although they were a little lighter in colour than I imagined. No an issue as they are not close to the other Yoshimura grey parts already on the bike.
