This gas cap is very nice, it feels and looks like a good quality product. It fit well on my custom Kawasaki Vulcan 800. I'm using a 1985 - 2003 harley sportster tankView Detail
I bought this for my One-off FRP Tank creation.
It is a domestic (Honda) standard and is the same as the old SUPER CUB, CD50/90 and XL250 series.
So it is compatible with Cap.
Until 20 years ago, there was only weld mouth Gold for HARLEY, but now there is such a mouth Gold for Japan car standard
It was a good time (I didn't have the mouth Gold I wanted back then, so I made my own with Cut-out).
For Welding's mouth gold, there is no gluing allowance when attaching it to the FRP tank, so a strip is cut out from a thin steel plate.
I annealed it, bent it around to make a Doughnut shape, and attached it to the mouth gold with Silver Low to make a flange that can be used as glue.
VinylEster resin is mixed with Fiber and Barrelk to make a glue and fixed, and finally reinforced with Glass mat.
If you use VinylEster resin, it won't leak no matter how many years you use it, but don't use Polyester resin.
The product itself is well made, but it is not as good as it is supposed to be. "When welding to iron tank has no ears.
It's tough unless you're TIG welding, and if you're using non-gas semi-automatic you have to do it from the back. Har of rubbing together.
The dollar is going up, but I'm not sure if I should stick with Silver low.
Cap also works normally. However, the air vent is poor, so it may leak when you put it in a full Tan.
If you want to make your own tank with FRP or thin aluminum, you can either buy a cap of the type to attach the tube, or you can use a cap of the type to attach the tube.
It is advisable to provide a separate air vent at the time of construction.
And it's a large thing, but the finish of the part where the packing of the mouth Gold and Cap hits is messy.
There is a Case which leaks slowly. This is a case that is leaked slowly with Paper No.1000→2000 after Tank is completed.
If you sharpen it and polish it a little, it will fit.

The CBR650R is mounted at the same position angle as the NORMAL.
